Saline Area Schools Reaches Agreement with Support Personnel and Administrators
SALINE, MI - January 16, 2020 - The Saline Area Schools Board of Education approved new collective bargaining agreements with their educational support personnel (ESP) and administrators (SASAA) at their January 14, 2020 Board of Education Meeting. Both agreements are two year agreements and will be in effect from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021.
Saline Area Schools welcomed the United States Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia on Monday morning, November 25th. Superintendent Scot Graden, High School Principal David Raft and SWWC Principal/Director Jody Gielinski provided Secretary Scalia with a tour of Saline High School.
On Monday, November 18th, Superintendent Scot Graden presented to a group of 50+ attendees, which included: SAS parents, community members, SAS Board of Education representatives, SAS administrators and staff.
The committee will work together between the months of January and April of 2020 to review the four strategic goals, evaluate the action steps included in each goal and ultimately make a recommendation to the Board of Education for current and new action steps.
