SALINE, MICHIGAN July 24, 2021: Earlier this month, Superintendent Laatsch announced the hiring of the next Assistant Principal of Saline Middle School, Lindsay Guenther. Dr. Laatsch is looking forward to starting the school year with two new additions to the administrative team. “We are very excited to welcome Lindsay, as she will bring a variety of different experiences to strengthen our instruction program for students.”
Lindsay is no stranger to our school district, as she has served our community for over a decade. “For the last ten years, I have worked at Saline High School as a special education provider in various capacities- most recently as teacher consultant leading the Special Education Department. During my time, I helped coordinate summer programming and district professional development to promote student success, while building partnerships with staff, students, and community members along the way.“
Working for Saline Area Schools has been a highlight of Lindsay’s life. “Where do I start? Our level of community involvement is unmatched. The instructional opportunities we provide students are robust and our staff’s dedication is next level.”
Under the leadership of building Principal Laura Washington, Lindsay will have the opportunity to work with a veteran administrator within the district. Mrs. Washington cannot wait to start collaborating with her new teammate. “I am elated that Lindsay is going to be joining the Saline Middle School team. Her personality, her knowledge of special education, and her connection with students and staff make her a perfect addition to our school.”
Lindsay lives in Saline with her husband, Scott, and their son Weldon (4).
