As I enter my 19th year in Saline, and 21st in education, I continue to be amazed by what our students, staff and community have, and continue, to achieve.  The pandemic has put our Saline Area Schools’ Compass to the test and it is with pride that I think of what our students have accomplished.  We don’t know what this year will bring, but I do know that the Saline Middle School staff has the best interest of the students at heart and will continue to put relationships, rigor and relevance of education and curricula at the forefront.

Assistant Principal Lindsay Guenther

I am humbled and honored to be joining the middle school team this school year. I have spent my entire adult life in the education field starting as a paraeducator when I was 17 years old. During my last 9 years in SAS, I have taught and led within the special education department at the high school. I am beyond excited to take everything I have learned over the years to support our students, staff, and families here at Saline Middle School. Personally, my husband and I of almost 10 years are lifetime Saline residents who have a 4 year old son.

Middle school students are amazing young people who are tasked with multiple challenges and changes during their adolescence years. I look forward to supporting their unique needs by promoting healthy choices and relationship building. I am beyond grateful to be spending this upcoming school year with the Saline Middle School family.
