ENGINEERING / ROBOTICS at Chelsea High School

Requirements: Grades 11-12 only, Application Required, Full Year Program

Engineering & Robotics introduces students to engineering and manufacturing technologies through hands-on experiences. Students will work with 3D printers, a FANUC industrial robot, and a HAAS CNC machine, gaining skills applicable to modern industry. They will apply the Engineering Design Process to identify, plan, and create functional prototypes that solve real-world problems. Students will also build and program mobile robots. This course is open to all students interested in technical or engineering career paths.

ENGINEERING/ROBOTICS 2 at Chelsea High School 

Requirements: Grade 12 only, Application Required, Full Year Program, Successful Completion of Engineering/Robotics 1

This year-long, advanced course builds on Engineering/Robotics 1, giving students hands-on experience with 3D printers, a CNC router and mill, and a FANUC ER 4ia robot. Students will complete FANUC online training and apply the Engineering Design Process to design, build, and test advanced prototypes. By the end of the course, students will gain practical skills in robotics, manufacturing, and automation, preparing them for further study or careers in engineering and advanced technology fields.
