Exercise Science & Sports Medicine (Year)

With a focus on Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) this CTE program introduces students to various aspects of health-related careers such a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Athletic Trainer, EMT, First Responder, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, among many others.

To Be Successful

Students in the Exercise Science program need to be present through exemplary
attendance and engage with content, curriculum, and educational applications inside
and outside of the classroom/lab. Students must have a strong desire to learn about
health and the human body, anatomy and physiology, injury evaluation and diagnosis, and
preventative measures related to health as well as have a strong skill set pertaining to
Science, English, and communication.
