Meet the

MS ADMINISTRATION

Principal Kimberly Jasper

As a Saline graduate and a middle school educator, I am ecstatic to have the privilege of serving your students as Principal of Saline Middle School!

Professionally, I have experience teaching adult education and high school, but the majority of my educational career has been middle school focused. My roles have included 7th / 8th grade teacher, assistant principal, and principal.

Personally, my husband and I have four daughters (Laila, 18; Cristin, 16; Rebecca, 14; Katelyn, 12). I hold an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s degree from Michigan State University, and am in the process of earning a Specialist degree from Northern Michigan University.

Middle school is a world of curiosity and complexity in which students are navigating
complicated social dynamics and increased expectations while experiencing significant personal growth. It is my goal to foster a culture for learning in which kids feel safe to ask questions, to make mistakes, to learn.

Thank you for the opportunity to support your student’s education.

Assistant Principal Lindsay Guenther

I am humbled and honored to continue to be part of the Middle School Team.  I have spent my entire adult life in the education field, starting as a paraeducator when I was 17 years old. During my last 11 years in SAS, I have had the pleasure of leading teams at the secondary level in different capacities. Personally, my husband and I are lifetime Saline residents. We also have a 6-year-old little hornet who is going into 1st grade at Woodland Meadows.

Middle school students are amazing young people who are tasked with multiple challenges and changes during their adolescent years. I look forward to supporting their unique needs by promoting healthy choices and relationship-building. I am beyond grateful to be spending this upcoming school year with the Saline Middle School family.
