Free School Breakfast and Lunch!

Update for 2026-27: The Michigan Free Meals for All Program continues to provide free breakfast and lunch to every public school student. The program is funded through the State of Michigan's annual School Aid budget, allowing all students to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day.

Although meals are free, all families are encouraged to complete the 2026-27 School Meals & Education Benefit (EBT) Application. Completing this confidential application helps ensure continued state funding and may qualify our schools and community for additional benefits and programs, including free summer meals and other educational resources. Families can submit their application online.

Important Information to Know:

• All students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day.
• The free meal includes a complete reimbursable meal. À la carte items (such as an extra milk, snacks, bottled beverages, or additional entrées) are not included and must be purchased separately.
• Families may add funds to their student's account through the Meal Magic Portal to purchase à la carte items, beverages, snacks, or additional meal items during breakfast and lunch.
