After-school and Evening Activities Canceled
Due to predicted weather conditions and the current Winter Weather Advisory, Saline Area Schools is canceling after-school and evening activities on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Aftercare programs will continue as scheduled. Please exercise caution when traveling today.

Saline Middle School is closed today 4/6/26 due to a building issue.
12:30 p.m. Update: Crews continue to work on repairs at Saline Middle School and were able to turn off water to a select portion of the building while they continue to work to resolve the issue. After-school and evening activities are able to run as scheduled today. Due to transportation challenges with programs scheduled to occur immediately after school, Middle School Track and Field, weight training, Science Olympiad, Girls Lacrosse, and Uno Club are canceled. Evening activities, including Community Education Basketball (rental), Boys Lacrosse (at Crabtree Field), and Robotics (Team 10645) will continue as scheduled. Please check directly with the respective coaches or departments with any questions.
Due to an outage with our phone service provider, Saline Area Schools' phone systems are currently unavailable to make and receive external calls. If you need to reach our schools to report attendance or for any other matters, the following individuals will be closely monitoring emails in each building:

Students are safe in our buildings, and cellular phones are operating as usual in case of an emergency. Additionally, we have made contact with emergency services and dispatch who have access to administrator cell phones. We will keep families informed when we have updates to share. The outage does not impact emergency alert notifications (fire alarms and Informacast).
Saline Area Schools will be CLOSED Monday, January 26, 2026 due to current and anticipated road conditions from Sunday’s snow event.
ALL Saline Area Schools afterschool and evening events, practices, and activities will be CANCELED Monday, January 26 as road conditions, particularly back roads, continue to present challenges for travel.
Saline Area Schools will be CLOSED Friday, January 23, 2026 due to extreme cold conditions. All events scheduled in Saline school buildings on Friday, January 23 are also canceled. Questions about individual programs and activities should be directed to respective coaches, advisors, or departments.
Saline Area Schools after-school and evening events may run as scheduled today. Please refer to your respective coach/advisor/department for guidance about specific activities. Saline Community Education after-school activities are cancelled. Saline Community Education evening activities and community rentals may continue as scheduled today. Students unable to attend scheduled events should communicate with their advisor/coach directly. Please continue to use caution when traveling today.
