Summer 2025 Update

Construction at the Corona Athletic Complex (between the Middle School and Liberty School) is underway and will continue through the coming year. An event is planned to kick-off the last football season at Crabtree Field. Students, coaches, and alumni are invited to join us for a short ceremony honoring the space on Tuesday, September 16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. (between the 7th and 8th grade football games). The field will be open for photos after the conclusion of the 8th grade game. Traffic patterns and drives at Saline Middle School are being modified to provide a safer space on-campus for student pick-up and drop-off. The work at Saline Middle School reflects the recommendations of a traffic study based on the need to accommodate additional pick-up and drop-off space in a parking lot originally designed to accommodate High School student drivers. More information will be shared with Middle School families closer to the start of the school year. The completion of the Hornet Operations Center in the Fall of 2024 relocated several departments to Tefft Court, creating additional space for student and community-facing programs at Saline Middle School. Moving the bus garage to the Operations Center allowed the connection of Weber-Blaess Drive to Thibault Drive, creating another access point to the Saline Middle School campus. Construction will continue this year on a renovated and expanded Saline Area Senior Center, cosmetology program, and STEAM classrooms and spaces at Saline Middle School.
