Emily Sickler, Principal
My name is Emily Sickler, and I am delighted to introduce myself as your principal of Harvest Elementary School. I am honored to be selected to positively lead, learn, and have fun alongside the students, staff, and families in this vibrant learning community.
My journey as an educator started at the University of Michigan when I student taught in Kindergarten. After college, I was able to long-term sub in Young 5s, 1st, and 3rd grade before settling into 5th grade where I worked for 8 years. I also had the opportunity to teach 1st grade for 3 years. In 2016, I was hired as the assistant principal for Saline Middle School.
Together, we will work collaboratively to provide ALL Harvest students the best opportunities to feel valued, safe, and invested in their learning. Chelsea Cicero, Academic Dean
When I am not at school, I love to play volleyball, read, and work out. I have a 5-year-old dog named Charlie, and I am the proud auntie of five amazing nieces and nephews. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and going on coffee runs.
I am looking forward to getting to know our students, staff, and families and becoming a part of the Harvest team!
