6th-7th Grade Math Testing Out

Pre-Algebra: Testing Out Test Topics - ONLY for current 6th graders going into 7th grade.

A student's 7th-grade math course, upon completion of 6th-grade EDM, will be Pre-Algebra.  In an interest to recognize that students’ abilities can significantly change over time, we want to allow for fluidity between the courses each year.  For this reason, students who are excelling in EDM and who feel inclined to test out of 7th grade Pre-Algebra (a required pre-requisite for Algebra 1) will have the chance to do so.  We will be offering 2 dates to take the required test. The testing out dates for 2019/2020 school year are March 12th and March 19th. The test will be administered in Mr. Brunty's room -B101 from 3:00-4:00pm

This is an entirely OPTIONAL test.  It covers topics that would be covered in a Pre-Algebra course (meaning beyond what your child will learn this year, although some topics overlap).  A list of these topics is listed below.
