The mission of the Saline Area Schools Early Childhood Services Pooh Corner Preschool Program is to provide an engaging learning environment to foster children's imagination, creativity, and problem solving skills.
Pooh Corner Program, for children ages 3 to 5 years old, is operated by Saline Community Education and is located in the Woodland Meadows Elementary School building. The program is designed to foster children's competency in all areas of development. We offer a well balanced curriculum to promote cognitive, physical, emotional, social development, and kindergarten readiness of children.
Our goal at Pooh Corner is to offer a program that is developmentally appropriate according to the guidelines set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Creative Curriculum and Project Approach are incorporated in curriculum planning.
