The mission of the Saline Area Schools Early Childhood Services Pooh Corner Preschool Program is to provide an engaging learning environment to foster children's imagination, creativity, and problem solving skills.
Pooh Corner Program, for children ages 3 to 5 years old, is operated by Saline Community Education and is located in the Liberty School building. The program is designed to foster children's competency in all areas of development. We offer a well balanced curriculum to promote cognitive, physical, emotional, social development, and kindergarten readiness of children.
Our goal at Pooh Corner is to offer a program that is developmentally appropriate according to the guidelines set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Creative Curriculum and Project Approach are incorporated in curriculum planning.

"What we like most about the program is the wonderful and caring teachers Mattia had. We were kept well informed of her progress and areas we should focus on."
"Everything about this program is wonderful, they excel in all areas for getting the child ready for school. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a preschool and it was recommended to us, so glad we listened."
"What I like most about the program as a parent/guardian is that the leadership and teachers supported us through a difficult journey and together we achieved my son returning to health and normalcy."
"She is a more confident, social child now. I also feel very confident in her kindergarten readiness. Pooh Corner is hands down the best preschool program I've encountered."
