SAS Online Course Offerings
Saline Area Schools uses a variety of online vendors to provide students with courses that are rigorous, engaging, and meet the exacting standards for high school credit. While the Saline District strongly encourages students to take classes at Saline High School, there are many reasons that an online option is preferable. A scheduling conflict, particular interest area, advanced study, credit recover or flexibility with pacing are some reasons that students elect online classes.
- Under the current state legislation (5-0-A), students can enroll in up to two online classes each trimester, and the District will facilitate enrollment, mentoring, pacing, tutoring and credit completed.
- Under the regulation, 5-0-B, students can enroll in 100% online classes by requesting a full seat time waiver. This waiver may be approved by the Saline Area Schools. To learn more about a full seat-time waiver, please click on the link below to access information from the Michigan Department of Education.
