As you travel through the Saline Craft Show, CINDY HIGGINS' booth is the “most lit up” as many her products provide light and are highlighted with candles or lights.  Cindy primarily paints on glass such as beveled glass window charms, salt and pepper shakers, votives, pump and pour bottles, wine bottle lamps, vase lights and candle lights.  But painting was not Cindy’s first crafting area.  Residing in a small town in northern Indiana with her husband and youngest son, she wanted to work.  Starting with fabric lampshades and then small apple trees with hand-rolled clay apples and leaves and a paper wrapped tree, she finally made fabric snowmen ornaments.  Each of these product lines were popular for five-plus years, and she then began to hand-paint glass.  Learning from a book, she recognized that she truly enjoyed this craft.  Today, painting flowers, palm trees, grasses and beaches, fruits and pumpkins to fall leaves, and finally snowmen, white winter trees, and poinsettia are all included on her product line.  So see a varied product line that makes great gifts for yourself and others in the “most lit up” booth in the show.
